EOR is an advanced method of obtaining oil by adding energy in the form of special materials or fluids that are not contained in oil reservoirs.
Generally, EOR is applied to mature fields with the aim of extracting remaining oil that cannot be produced by primary and secondary acquisition methods (water flooding). Some EOR techniques that are widely known to date are Water Flooding, Chemical injection, Microbial and Gas lift injection.
